If you thought Taelan kicked ass, Tirion does so 5 times better. I don't think he even took 1/4 damage during this fight. When we did finally take him down, he only dropped 13S and that's all.

At the very end of the book, it shows Taelan as a twenty-one year old being knighted as a Paladin as the Silver Hand, and he is obviously a Paladin as Highlord Taelan Fordring, when you fight him it either takes place 10+ years in the future, or Blizz seriously screwed up the age timeline almost the same way as they did with Whitemane, Mograin and Vishas.
